MOVEMASTER RSG
The story
From prototype to the final product
The History of the MOVEMASTER RapidSteeringGear
After the first sketches and conceptual drawings, the MoveMaster took shape over several years of intensive development work and extensive real-world testing. During this period, numerous functional models and prototypes were created.
The MoveMaster was developed by gamers to fundamentally question and rethink the traditional way of controlling a computer. The goal was to consistently utilize the natural anatomical range of motion of the human hand and, in doing so, enable a significantly more intuitive and precise form of control.
In the past, several well-known manufacturers attempted to establish alternative input devices. However, most of these approaches failed to gain lasting acceptance, as both the concepts and their implementation did not meet the practical requirements of gamers.
The first version of the MoveMaster was created in 2018 as part of a small start-up. Despite very limited financial resources, we were able to receive exceptionally positive feedback from users at an early stage, as well as initial recognition in specialist media.
On this basis, MoveMaster GmbH was founded and the current production model was developed. It combines the results of multiple development stages, long-term testing and user feedback, and forms the foundation for our entry into the international market.
The devices are manufactured in Germany, in Bavaria, and assembled by qualified specialists. Our focus is on a durable, service-friendly and high-quality product. Sustainability and the responsible use of resources are integral parts of our product development – from the selection of materials and careful assembly to packaging made from recyclable foam and cardboard.
In addition, with every sale we support selected animal welfare projects.
